Three online bracelet events scheduled for 2017 WSOP

The 2017 World Series of Poker is well underway, with the official first day on Tuesday and bracelet events starting yesterday.

Every day, players at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino will have access to a number of events, with a total of 74 tournaments offering gold bracelets along with the first place prize money.

There have been many changes to the WSOP over the years, including this year, with the Novemb 7BALL er Nine coming to an end and final table players of the Main Event duking it out in July instead of waiting months to see who the big winner will be.

Included in these changes are new tournaments added to the schedule, such as online events.

In 2015, the WSOP offered their very first online poker tournament and have provided online events each year since. For the 2017 edition, the WSOP has three online bracelet events on the schedule. The first ever WSOP online event attracted 905 players and saw the final table played live at the Rio. For 2017, one online event kicks off this week with the remaining two to take place in July.

The first online event will be Event #8, the $333 Little Grind Online Bracelet tournament. This event begins at 3:33pm PT. The second online event on the schedule is Event #61, the $3,333 Big Grind Online Bracelet tournament. This tournament will actually have the highest buy-in for any event ever held on WSOP.com, taking place at 3:33pm PT on July 1st. The last online tournament on the schedule will be Event #71, the $1,000 Classic Online Bracelet tournament. This event will begin at 2:00pm PT on July 7th.

All three of the online events are set to be completed online, unless the WSOP decides to make any last minute changes. Players attending the WSOP can also log online to take part in satellites to earn seats to the live and online events of the WSOP while in Las Vegas at WSOP.com.
